He’s so cute.
Rory killed the duvet the other night. He then spent last night curled up right on top of me. Probably because he was cold. Because he killed the duvet. 🙄

Arlo fell/jumped into a murky part of the river (was a 5 ft drop to the river). Was only in the water a couple of seconds as I jumped down to get him back.
Since being home, has been going mad licking and chewing his feet, scratching himself and going mad rolling about (trying to scratch it I assume). Could it be anything more serious than a bit of irritation from the water?
Just bathed him to see if that helps.

I couldn't say Roberto but I'm glad you've bathed him as that should help. But if the bath doesn't help I'd be inclined to give the OOH vet a call.

Seems to have settled him but he has been very growly and grumpy tonight for the first time in a while so something definitely bothering him.

Mine have been exactly like that after ditch diving in agricultural land many moons ago. They were fine after a good wash off. I wouldn't panic but keep an eye on him obviously. I guessed it was an agri-chemical of some sort that irritated them.

Itchy after falling into water? Possibly duck mites. They are irrtating but harmless to humans.

Jet has been on antiflam for three weeks now and has restarted agility this week. He's back to enjoying himself again.
We'd kept him away because he was getting grumpy. The vet says his joints are physically OK, but there's no way of knowing if being 'a bit stiff' was part of his bad mood and recommended a short break to give him a chance to recover.
We've had a lot of disruption with building work and furniture moving so I think that's stressed Jet as well. Things should calm down next week.

Are they harmful for dogs helegant? Or require a vet visit?

How is he today Roberto? If it's the mites that give 'swimmers' itch' I don't think the irritation will last too long.
