Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sorry to hear about poorly dogs. We needed more dog food anyway and buy in bulk so I have plenty food. We also needed treats so have stocked up. I was joking with QP that if we get stuck we might need to eat dog food. If we get really stuck the dog might be in trouble.

I need dog-food too, I was waiting to see if the vet decides he needs a renal diet - but we're running out of his usual so will have to restock

I've just text my dog walker to say we don't need her for the foreseeable as I am now WFH and QP is not at college. I have offered to pay a retainer fee to keep his place with her until it's all over. I can't really justify paying £20 a week for walks that we don't need and that put us all at risk of infection.

Op day today for Phoebe. She’s back. A bit sore and slowly settling down. She’s eaten the chicken and rice. We’ll find out in up to 10 days if it’s another cancer or not.

more luck and heart for Phoebe

We still don't know why Ralph's kidneys are giving such odd blood and urine results - but he's more or less back to his usual idiotic self :).

The lovely vets are giving me a telephone consult once a week with questions to answer that they hope will tell them whether he is in need of any intervention. Still gentle walks on lead to protect his knee, but it's not safe to operate until they understand the kidney issues. If I think he's in pain they'll give me a different (to Metacam) painkiller.
