His blanket lives there in the day time because of course he is often wet / muddy as in this pic.

Gorgeous doggy-on-bed pics! Charlie isn't allowed upstairs so would be very envious if he could see what his fetch pals get up to...
We've had Cushla (trainer) round at the house this morning for a 1 to 1 session. She's helping us with a few issues - barking and jumping up at delivery persons being the main ones. It was very intensive and both Charlie and I are quite tired this afternoon.
I asked her about "My Dog and Me" - they are hoping to do a 2nd series but are waiting for feedback on viewer numbers. Very strict auditions apparently, to make sure that both dog and owner are up to the tasks. Also, being the BBC, there has to be diversity. You would have a good chance of being picked if you are very fit and of Afro-Caribbean descent and have a dog who is very well trained and used to doing physical activities.

I have to say when I watched the series I did think that all the candidates had been very obviously selected for 'type' and I wondered which one I would be out of: Young Pretty Ditzy Girl - nope Fit young outdoors type bloke - nope Woman or Man with some sort of disability - nope Woman or Man who is from a different ethnic background to White British - no Very Posh one - most definitely not
I can't remember what the others were now but....
Mad bonkers dog woman...... er.........yeah I might be that one....

Unless being on the short side counts as a disability we'll be out of the running.

Great picture hp
I suspect that should there be another series, and should Wanda wish to apply, once they do a DBS check to see if she has a criminal record or not we probably won't be asked to attend an interview - unless dogs can also have such a thing as a 'spent conviction'
