Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Feeling a bit guilty as I had to work a bit later tonight so QP did the evening walk. Mind you they went to the park with his new toy so Ernie is now happily snoozing beside me.

And another first for today... first time Dougal was sick! No idea what caused it, he suddenly got up, ran outside and was sick. Had, had lunch 2 hours before and no snacks since. I'll assume it's just part of being a puppy, I don't think he's had anything bad (he'd been napping since his lunch anyway).

Well done Dougal for going outside. What a clever puppy.

Indeed. Whatever it was, that's a good reaction.

Mr (as penance for leaving the stair gate open and food on the worktop) stayed up all night with Jet beside him (OK, so they both slept really) because Jet had managed to get into the kitchen and snaffled the remains of my birthday cake, stuffed full of glycerin and sugar etc. Jet was a bit twitchy and fidgety all evening but seemed fine this morning. And he wasn't even sick.
I'm tempted to sellotape Jet's jaws shut!
