Hello Fetchland. Are we having one of these this year - don't recall seeing anything in the forum? I'm happy to do a bit of organising and then turn up with the magic suitcase full of surprises and balloons and jellybabies, if a few others would like to come along and help out.

But if the runners prefer not to be cheered, abused, hugged, high-fived, fed, watered, rubbed, wiped, bandaged, plied with alcohol and sent on their merry way then chances are I shall probably turn up and do it anyway!!

Who's in?

(Of course, if anyone else wants to take it on this year, I'm happy to handover the responsibility!!)

The Inspector
Last year was my first London Marathon and being part of Fetchpoint was a real bonus. I am fortunate, based on last year's run, to have secured a GFA place for this year's outing. From a runner's perspective I'm certainly up for some of all of the above. Well done Kwala for stepping up to the mark.

Fetchpoint is fantastic from either side of the barrier. Thanks in advance to all those involved. I'm on the running side this year.

hope to...
Knowing I had Fetchpoint to come massively helped me. I just focussed on getting there. Hearing the cheer when I was on the other side of the road was such a lift, and then to stop for a hug was a life saver. I jogged on thinking how wonderful, and now I am nearly home.

Well done Kwala, I am running and would really appreciate seeing fetchpoint again!!!

I'll be down to support :)

This is an important year , with Fetch himself and KatieB running. i wonder if we need a post on the main "chat" part of the forum as some people may have turned off the option to see VLM posts?
