Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Stef, my wife, is doing a hundred miles this weekend. She’ll have company for the full distance and I’m doing road support / refreshments. It is five ‘legs’ starting and finishing from Haworth. First leg is the Yorkshireman marathon route kicking off at 8am. The kettle is on and porridge about to be made. I’ll post a few updates on this thread as things progress :-)

It’s Stef’s take on the virtual LDWA 100. The real event should have been in Wales this weekend Stu, but runners and walkers can do their own ‘virtual’ version

Stef’s route is 2 x Yorkshireman marathons, a 15 mile loop over towards Hebden Bridge and back past Top Withins, 20 miles out and back into Lancashire on the Brontë and Pendle Ways, and another lap of the 15 mile Hebden Bridge loop to finish

We were sitting in the sun in t-shirts and shorts waiting for 8am to come round when in a matter of a minute or two the mist rolled in and it suddenly felt 5 degrees cooler. A great example of how conditions change quickly ;-)
