Jude - that isn't a towel. It's a huge sheet of sandpaper.

We use it to detect ghaypoofs who may have wandered in by mistake. Anyone who whimpers whilst towelling off will be summarily ejected.

Of course the long term residents just shake themselves dry in a manner not unlike a shaggy dog, but we have to make some allowances for those who have, as yet, Insufficiently hardened up their The Fucks.

I should have my first officially-coached swimming experience this evening, as I brave the Masters session at Cockermouth pool.

I have about half of a cold at the moment, so this may be in doubt. I am balancing the wisdom of HTFU and going and just doing it, against the possibility of thus giving the cold the chance to develop and thereby buggering up the weekend's training.

Hmm.
