I think I need nose clips or big diving type over the nose goggles so I'll prob not bother. My question is about fin use... should I use them for longer, endurancse type swims to keep form or not so I get used to the slog of swimming without them?

You don't have to do it open water and you don't have to do it by any particular date.

It's a challenge, not a race.
