Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'll be launching entries for the Half Marathon soon. It's on 14 September.

Harry Gow Bakery are making biscuit medals for the Inverness Half and 5K. Regretting my life choices that I didn't enter the half now! :-)

Biscuit medals? They have had gingerbread biscuit medals at the Fetteresso marathon for years 😀. You'll have to give and do it RooA

It is epic!

The medal:

It's organised by my friend Chris from Stonehaven running club. I've run it a few times and marshalled too. I've just remembered that the string of the medal is a sweetie shoe lace. Entries open on Hogmanay and it sells out quite quickly. Bargain price!

I've added it to my mental list of mental races...
The only problem being travel at that time of year and the general difficulties of Going Away From Horses, especially in winter. True of most races I might want to do really though

But that medal is very cool and a self-sufficient low key winter race would be a good challenge.
