Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[PS: not planning on investing or doing any more triathlons! Cycling is too hard for my tastes.]

Iโ€™ve worn my vaporfly in a duathlon. With elastic laces, the lack of tongue worked very well for transition, though the shoes themselves werenโ€™t great on a mixed surface.

All depends on the upper - flyknit material is quite stretchy and easy to pull the heel in quick. But the vaporweave has less give and I have to literally shoehorn my heels in to avoid crushing the back of them

I've got a rack of cheat shoes now, none of them do much for me except VF from limited testing, but some are far easier to get into fast

Looked like a handful of the front pack of the mens race had Asics Metaspeed Sky on, inc the winner. Couldn't tell what Yee was wearing and it looked like the NZ runner in third maybe had Alphafly on?

That looks like a decent shout K5 Gus

Looks like Blummenfeld has been using Metaspeed Sky to race in for at least 9 weeks, checking his Instagram (warning - you will be exposed to more pics of him in his see through trisuit, don't have nightmares)

New Balance have an LD-X spike which is similar to the MD-X and SD-X with non-removeable spikes and external carbon plate. Looks to have the max amount of cushioning (although looks could be deceiving. Nothing available in the UK AFAIK.

Check the latest list and the are indeed not sprint legal. The Dragonfly and ZA Victory are both sprint legal.
