Geordiegirl - I realise that you wouldn't want to alert HR that you might be planning to leave. Annoying about the password manager, should have transferred if saved to cloud. |

I had another of those days today. Started before half seven, meetings 9-5 a backlog of work, e-mails coming out my ears and left at six with a similar day tomorrow. I really need a team of people or other people to step up and take more on. I think the next step of our OD will become clear in the next few weeks. I am hopeful but suspect I will still have a role.

GG, you could use the current turmoil created by Trump as a reason to review your pension situation, might you also be able to see where your investments are as well as their value?

Bazo, even if they don't give you more help (or VR!) you need to recognise that you're not responsible for the company's inadequacies. The bosses are all coining it in. You and every other person putting in more than their 9-5 is just being exploited. In the office myself tomorrow for another day of exploitation! Put another lump against mortgage today. Under 12 months to go on that front at least! Have been paying mortgage in 3 different relationships for 35 years, so not exactly early repayment! ![]() |

Good call Llamo, and the chap I’d be telling is not HR also they told us on a comma briefing last year we could access the figures direct. Mr gg retired in Feb so it’s reasonable to want to know where I stand, annd giving I can’t so technically I rang to report that problem and asked them to send it out to

@HappyG(rrr) you make some good points there. Unfortunately the responsibility in me means I couldnt just do 9-5. Arguably if I had done that I woud have been moved on long ago. I did have a better day today. Still manic and issues galore, but I managed to catch up. Good news that your mortgage is nearing the end. I found it quite hard to make the final payment on ours, not sure why. I think I was paying mortgages for 33 years. Initially for a flat on my own with a 30 year term and then three other properties, two were 25 yr terms but the final one was 23 years and a top up to the previous 25 year one |

We might not pay off finally. Might use it for flexible finance for some house building. But that will be a choice and an investment not just a cost. Bazo, I understand but I kind of agree with what Ally says! We're all suckered of we think "doing our best" for any big, money making corporation is a good way to expend our limited store of time and energy. But maybe I'm being overly cynical. ![]() |

My work ethic definitely screwed me over during lockdown when wfh. Whilst others were taking the piss I was taking the slack 😡 My annual review said I was meeting expectations despite boss saying if I hadn’t helped they would have been screwed |
