Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This seemed broadly familiar. Well written with some stand out moments. I mildly enjoyed the literature tricks, after all the angst in HhHH about writers and history I find it quite playful and it wasn’t overly intrusive. Finished it quickly and I appreciated it for that

Of all of them it was the most senseless and random I thought. Although Pa's was pretty senseless but somehow absolutely absurd and hilarious iyswim

Yes it rang the more true for that. I was expecting it to be a literary device

Finished this yesterday. After getting part way through the first chapter and seeing all the chapter names, the end was rather predictable. Couldn't quite work out who the narrator was meant to be - was confused by the 'I' and 'me' that kept occurring. Didn't feel as if I got to know any of the characters. My biggest bug bear though was the lack of quotation marks indicating speech. I'm guessing this is a modern thing!

Gave it a 6 as I didn't dislike it, but can't say I liked it either.

Yes, I just thought your review sounded more like a review of They.
