since i significantly reduced my alcohol from what i would call moderate (9 months ago) to what i would now call very little, ive finally lost the last kilo off my frame to get pretty much to the weight I feel is right for me. I put it down to not just the calories in the drink but mainly to being able to "no" to the goodnight biscuit (or four)

There are so many bad habits that come along with some / a few / many alcoholic drinks. Well done Doc on kicking it. Homer, I do between half and 75% of what I used to do, mileage wise. And they also say that weight loss / gain is influenced 80% by diet and only 20% by activity. But I don't know my calories in / calories out now and didn't know it before, so I'm not able to do a comparison across all relevant data, unfortunately. But I know I ate a whole 200g packet of Revels and 1/3 of a 400g giant Toblerone last night, and that's probably not good! ![]() |

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Didn't even have a hint of "cold beer craving" in the fine weather. Fizzy water, a Coke, or zero alc beers have hit the spot fine. Keep on keeping on everyone! ![]() |
