That definitely counts
Thank you. Today has not gone well but that's for another thread

In person yoga today, managed a plough though it was a struggle! Might try doing more videos which do this stuff, it's good to mix it up Throwing practice later I did some on Monday and I put some tips into practice from my teacher, I like the way he slows things down and has a very relaxed approach. Most teachers have the wheel spinning at full pelt and it feels so much more stressful and messy! I still suck of centring but I'm improving incrementally

That's excellent. I tried to have a new sandwich today: kimchi and cheddar. But it had sold out.

I've started watching this thread. Now I just have to think of something to start. Have I left it a bit late?

You don't even have to start in September, no rules! Lots of throwing last night, my teacher's style really appeals to me, he breaks everything down and takes it slowly and analytically. I'm making progress

My personal rule though is that it's much easier to make progress if I actually sign up for something. Being taught something in a group is more motivating for me than trying stuff alone

I'm having some mixed experience with the new samba instrument. Practising on my own is fine, I can achieve quite a fast tempo. Probably not fast enough for the band at full speed, but I can do it consistently over a period of time. Put me back in the band, even at a slow tempo, and my limbs and brain forget what I'm doing. It's incredibly frustrating. Just have to keep at it I suppose! On a positive note, it's the first instrument I've played that doesn't involve having to use a strap to hold it - it means I can dance whilst playing. Utterly liberating!
