Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Looking good for 40 Nutso! ;) I love the leggings but my daughter has these so I am not allowed to get them as well :( LOL!

I have some new kit too - my Black Friday bargain shoes :) I have had my eye on these for quite a while but never imagined they would be included in any sales.

Nice shoes DQ..mine (not the same ones) are on order.
Nuts I'm sure you don't need the olay although Its what i swear by...maybe I'm not a good role model.
No hangover today which is good as I can't be bothered with them these days. Next weekend is a quiet one so tree and presents will be done and I want to paint my hallway as every weekend after that is busy but as long as I don't drink wine the whole evening I should be fine.

Have a good week folks and hopefully the weather stays kind enough to get some miles in

Hi all, lots going on, hope you had a great time in Thailand Nutso.

Set out to do my SAP 10 this morning but only managed 8.5. Went off to fast and didn't have it in me to get the last 1.5 done. Too much cba's and as such am quite pissed off with myself. But, on the other hand 8.5 is still quiet respectable in itself :)

DQ, I like your new avatar pic - you look very happy. :) I've just seen that you've got lots of races lined up for next year already, including a couple of marathons! I guess that's why you needed a new pair of running shoes. :)

LG, have fun painting, but I think that next weekend's too early to put the tree up. ;-)

Andy, you've been doing well with your training lately so I wouldn't worry about making the 10 today. :)

I was like that the other week, nearly cut short at 8.5 but told myself that that was the whole aim, 8.5 is the easy bit, it's the last 1.5 that makes the point of aiming for a 10 and that the hard bit. Next time, eh? ;-)

DQ is really happy in that photo cause I warned her the photographer was there (part of my marshalling duties ;-))

AR I always put my tree up the first week in December and it is only free weekend I will have before Christmas.

Well done Andy, I was going to run and collect my car from the train station but cba'd so will have to work hard this week to get some miles in

That was taken yesterday at parkrun AR. I was telling the photographer off as that is the last up bit before the finish and I normally take a few steps there before my sprint finish but I had to run it as he was there!

I haven't entered all of those races - some are just to remind me as others are running them. Probabably won't be doing Stirling marathon but Loch Ness is still being considered. Will see how winter and spring goes before making the final decision.

Andy sorry you didn't make it round the 10 today, sometimes it's best to call it a day if you've run out of beans or just not feeling it.

Lovely new shoes DQ! I know we say this every year but we are seriously tempted with a return to Loch Ness this year. Alrady entered Windermere, and also thinking of Snowdonia again. Mmmnnn may need a couple of pairs of new shoes for that lot :-)

Bloody photographers! They always get you near the top of a hill when you look your worst. Grrr! :-p

Lem, try to keep in mind a 700 Lakes event next autumn again. :)

I've just been looking at some races for next year but haven't entered any of them yet.
