Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

No closed roads, there's pavements for quite a lot of it, but can't recall if the Aberlady to Gullane section has pavements or you are just running on the side of the road - pavement I think, but you may want to check on google street view.
Not a busy race, ok if you get into a wee group at your pace, otherwise can be a lonely run.
Nice and flat, my activity gave 42m elevation !

Note the above is based on 2014.

As Gus says, not hilly at all, a couple of undulations going into Dirleton. But yes, pavement / road hopping a bit and car dodging. And pedestrian. It's a low key thing. Great finish and chips/ice cream rewards! :-) G

It’s me again! Where is closest place to stay to get to Pollok parkrun?

We are going to travel down on the Friday night instead of an early Saturday star.

Lip gloss, perhaps one of the places down by the SECC? There is a premier inn there. If you’re driving then it’s not far from the city centre area to pollock park. Or the train to Pollokshaws west.

Perfect thanks. I did think it looked close on the map but wasn’t sure. We are taking the train.
