Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Gosh, that's going to make it a bit sticky. Getting everyone to affiliate to FERC in order to run will put loads of people off, potential to man a changeover or similar is limited (16 changeovers, 55 teams) and the entry procedure may not be in our favour.

Is there a date for RNR 2010 yet?

well for me the main problem is that there isn't any fairness and the criteria to let a team in or out is completely arbitrary ....

Yes, it does seem entirely up to the race director's discretion and, after all the complaints about Fetch (whether they were correctly addressed or not) about noise in the camping field, I reckon our chances aren't good for 3 teams.

It's a real shame. I think Fetch added a lot to the spirit of the event.

There is the alternative of that round London relay, don't know much about it. Unfortunately, it's not overnight so you won't get the full experience, and it being in London rather than trapping us all in the arse end of nowhere, you won't get people hanging around all weekend, but it could be worth considering.
