The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

We are holding the Long Eaton 6-stage relay again this year, limited to 25 teams. Entry costs £30 per team and will include a mug for each runner.

Details are at longeatonrunningclub.com including course maps and instructions. The course is not signed but follows waymarked paths for the most part. Some navigation (ie reading instructions and relating them to the strip maps) is necessary as in parts there are several paths converging. there are also photographs of the course, mainly relevent stiles and gates.

I haven't updated the rules from last year yet. there will be a slight alteration for safety at two of the checkpoints, but at this stage it's not vitally important.
