Strange on TMW, his last posting on this thread was eminently sensible - and didn't seem to draw any backlash. Wonder if there was any f-mailing behind the scenes on his flags post, but even that didn't attract too much ire. What other threads did he like to post on? |

Did TMW say when/why he was going? His last post in this thread was a criticism (or question at least of priorities) of over zealous policing of demonstrators at Sarah Everard protest vs. under zealous (that's not a word is it?!) policing of racist football hooligans. A very thoughtful and socially conscientious post... ![]() |

Maybe he was embarrassed at having posted something reasonable here by mistake?

TMW posted helpfully on the retirement thread where is employment background was useful. Going back to JRs point on David Davis and the SNP Whatsapp messages, there was a lot of fuss in Scotland when Davis did that and IIRC there was some kind of prevention of publishing details in place. May not have been a court order but advice from the Lord Advocate/CPS |

The shipping aspect of the EU plan is already being slated for locking in fossil fuels. https://www.transportenvironment.org/press/leaked-eu%E2%80%99s-supposedly-%E2%80%98green%E2%80%99-shipping-law-will-lock-fossil-fuels#:~:text=fuels%20%7C%20Transport%20%26%20Environment-,LEAKED%3A%20EU's%20supposedly%20'green'%20shipping%20law%20will%20lock%20in,of%20decarbonisation%20by%202050%20impossible. |
