I can't quite understand what parkrun were thinking re the new RD gilet. Where it was blue before (which wasnt very hi viz) it is now black - I mean - the tailwalker & marshalls are ore noticeable whereas I would have thought it was more important to know who was in charge! Dos anyoen know any event where the race organiser has bden almost unoticeable? Added to that the branding now has the individual parkrun name on it - why is that necessay and I imagine over 1000s of parkruns it must have added to the cost. The only reason I could see that you need your own run name on is if there is a lot of visiting RDs going round half inching other parkruns gilets... So much for a happy healthy planet - a load mroe crap for landfill!
