Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi all, any advice for treating a bit of wetsuit chafe please? Not had it before despite my wetsuit being nearly three years old, and it's on my back just below and outside my shoulder blade so my clothes are catching on it which makes it a bit sore.

I'm booked in at the lake again on Sunday so hopefully a load of anti-chafe cream will stop it getting worse, or should I be braving a skins swim?

I've always used good old vaseline - never had a problem with it on the suit

Thanks Linds and richmac - didn't think of Sudocrem! Will acquire some tomorrow. Hopefully that'll repair it enough so I can slap on the wetsuit lube (we already have some, just didn't expect to need it on my back!) on Sunday and it'll be fine.

Late to the party, but another confirmatory vote for Sudocrem to soothe and improve existing rash. I like the body glide lube, but plenty other options available.

Thank you, additional endorsement always welcome! Detoured to the supermarket on last night's run and the chafe is already looking better, so hopefully all sorted now :-)
