I figure there is room for a middle ground of things that aren't mundane or exciting but pleasing none the less. Like chocolate and Guinness cake. Or this sunrise on my morning walk

It being half-term, he didn't want to get ahead of timetable. The lights went out on the bus - I was on the top deck. When we started again, he forgot to switch the lights on again for a couple of miles. It was great in the gathering dusk to be able to see out of the bus. I really enjoyed just looking out at the sunset.
