Garmin s calculation is 33.993m I think I would rather just get Garmin calculation showing here, then you wouldn’t have to make your own algorithm? It should work right? An other app (Flink) that shows me some data, use Garmins ascent calculation, without its own calculation.

The parkrun thread is on my mute list; I click on it because I enjoy parkrun, but after trawling through several pages which read like a transcript of the self-righteous brothers off Harry Enfield, I feel quite depressed. Better left alone, there's nothing I can add to it that will ever improve it for me.
