A dark ('gloomy' - Kevin McCloud) hobbit hole for the family? No curtains on any of the windows? No thanks, especially not for £1.2 million

Loved the bit late on where Marge is sorting things out and shaking her head in disbelief at what the criminals have got up to - we tend to take movie violence as slightly cartoonishly normal, and seeing it through her eyes denormalises it again. (Though the wood chipper was kind of over the top my most standards, to be fair. Spoilers, but it did come out in 1996).
