Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've been sitting down too long and though I've pressed 'send' I'm still not sure the tricky email I had to write was quite right.

(What I *wanted* to say was 'Piss off you are completely out of your mind if you think I'll agree to that.' But instead I wrote several very polite and constructive paragraphs. The effort was quite draining :-) )

It brought back memories of being a Tax Inspector, Fleecy, and writing to accountants in ways that meant 'Your client is a lying bastard' without using those actual words :-)

Work finished. QP hair disaster dealt with. Boats loaded. Dinner heated too much so waiting for it to cool. Why do we always end up with curry on a paddling night?

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
