Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Katie and I are planning on doing some Fetchpointing / supporting at the MK Marathon. We're hoping to get hold of the big Fetch flags from the London Fetchpoint, and the backpacks that go with them, so we can wander about the place looking like crazy Fetch peacocks.

Anyone else fancy coming along?

Any thoughts on which part of the course would be good?

Early on (if the course is the same) we pass the same point twice. Also Willen lake around half way could be good.

We've had a bit of a look, and a bit of a think, and we reckon we can set up shop at about 5 miles, and see all the Fetchies through from about 10.30 til about 11.15; and then we've got a little walk over to around the 22 mile mark, where we should see the speediest Fetchies at about 12, and we'll cheer for as long as our little voices will hold out :-)

Here's the details so far (if you're listed as doing the race, you should have an fmail with all this).

We've taken a look at the course, and our plan is to set up shop for a quick hello at around about five miles initially. We should be there from about 10.30 'til about 11.15, which should be enough time to see you all through, based on the range of times you've all listed on Fetch.

Then we'll head over to somewhere around mile 22 - we should be there in time to see the fastest of you arrive by about 12.15, and will cheer through as many of you as we possibly can.

Drop me a line to let me know if you'll be looking out for us - and if you've got any requests, let us know. We can't promise quails eggs on a bed of rocket salad, but we can definitely do jaffa cakes and jelly babies and that sort of thing :-)

Also... if you have any friends or know of other Fetchies who want to support on the day, get them to join this group for further updates: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/groups-view.php?id=1199
