Excuse the sad ramble below, I'm not looking for sympathy or anything else as I am what I am or Marmite as was once said.

I know something else which is quite sad for me but has become quite apparent from all the reminiscing.

My own private life fails are quite well documented so less said the better.

I'm basically a from the start fetchie who has managed at some point to offend/upset or just fail to be that friendly given the amount of weddings/relationships of people I know and who I had no idea were married/separated/still together.

Quite a shock when you realise in a nutshell that a lot of people you know basically don't like you.

Finally an old school picture that has me in it :-)

Gobi - you were one of the very first fetchies I saw in real life (Saucony 10k in 2008, I think) and I was too shy to come over and say hello. I don't think our real life paths have crossed paths since apart from a couple of seconds once a year at mile 22 of the London marathon!

What was the name of the (I think) American guy who was active on heart rate and pose coaching threads around 2009-10 when I joined? He was very strong willed and sure of his info. There were some lively debates.
