But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. I think it's lovely to see you all back again and wish you'd hang around.
I'm a relative newbie from April2011. I don't remember ever feeling anything but welcome. Yes, there were obviously groups of you who knew each other well and had been around a long time and there are new groups forming still, but that doesn't make the site any less friendly.

Would be nice to see you all chatting away in the cupboard and dishing out welcome bits of advice and info to newbies when you can :)

I have never flounced but a lot has happened to me so i keep to small areas of the site.

As you say SB a lot of us old guard met in real life more than once and are all hooked up on Facebook/twitter/instagram . I'm even linked to people on linkedin!!

One of the reasons (as well as the keeping in touch with folks by other social media) I'm here less is parkrun. Through parkrun I've got another group of friends that enjoy running and it's generally easier to see them.

Another is that I don't log my running - and I got a bit spooked by people looking at what I was doing

Agree with meeting outside fetch world in real people! Still hanging with Chiefy and Naomi from time to time to see some arty stuff! Or going to see Frances sing (it has bee a long time since last!!) and obviously Loca ;-)

So life would have been very very different without Fetch!
