So you'd have to enter without knowing your ballot result from LL.

Not having entered the LL50/100 since the ballot came in I didn't realise you didn't commit to payment when you entered the ballot (that's what I would have expected of the organisers tbh!) so that changes the equation somewhat. I have to say I wasn't very inspired by the routes for the Peak District races. There seemed to be a lot of dead running on either roads or the old railway trails (in one case the route follows a relatively major road, albeit with pavements when there is a parallel footpath...) to get the distance up without adding much interest.
