Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cotswold also houses Trek bikes and Up and Running and is also near to a Decathlon and Go Outdoors, should Cotswold not have anything you fancy.

Just bought some Scheepjes merino soft for a jumper and knitting a swatch. It feels lovely, (though a bit slippery), as soft as Debbie Bliss Cashmerino, but half the price as it's 50% merino with 25% acrylic and microfiber. It's going to make a lovely jumper. :-)

That sounds lovely Meglet. My life will feature Stylecraft special for the foreseeable future as I'm doing a blanket for the boat and a baby blanket as well and both need to be able to be thrown in a washing machine.

I will have to check my diary for November - will do so soon

I’ve almost crocheting a baby blanket but the pattern doesn’t have border for the blanket. I was going to put a row or two of double crochet around it but the top edge looks like this and I don’t know how to even it up. Do any of you crochet experts have any good ideas please?

Wobbling, you could even it up with a mixture of dc/htc/tc depending on how long you need the stitch to be. Or you could make chain spaces to the tops of each point and then dc from those, but you'd have gaps which you might not want.

You could crochet a small sample and try a few options, getting the right number of stitches will be the tricky thing.

Wobbling is it the side lean stitch? If so what Meglet says about dc htc tc or if you're going from the deeper bit to shallow but do it the other way tc htc dc

Good luck, it looks lovely
