Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

How many flies have you eaten this year while running?

I have consumed 3, one escaped my clutches so it was nearly 4.
I wonder how many calories your average fly is and if I needed to add an extra k to my run to burn him/her off.
Furthermore, running along the river Servern could possibly give me an unfair advantage here.

Flies are good for protein but I wouldn't think you'd need to run an extra k - maybe a few metres?

I'm just back from hols in Germany and on one evening run through a forest, wearing sun cream, I didn't eat any but 'captured' about 1 million flies by them getting stuck to my sun cream. I was covered in teeny tiny flies when I got home. Calorie free ones therefore.

The other week at the Sweatshop run I ended up with a few flies in my mouth - later as I mooched around Tesco I had a tickly throat, which was only explained when I coughed up an ex-fly :(
