Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Under 2 months to go for this now - starting to get worried as I've not run a step for 6 weeks.

I really need to get back out there again. I've had my running stuff in the back of the car for a fortnight now and not had a chance to use it.

Is there a course profile anywhere?

I'm sure there's a course profile somewhere but it's more or less 2 miles of undulations then a mile of mostly going up followed by about a mile of mostly going down. And repeat!

Cheers, I can imagine that hill will seem ike a mountain after a few hours.

I ran the Meadows marathon and it was 14 times up middle meadow walk and by the 10th time round I was cursing it with every breath I had :-)

The hill didn't bother me, I treated it like a rest every loop! I managed 25 laps and managed to run every one. I walked the hill every time.

shanksi, I will be starting very, very slowly and getting slower. What's your target (or is it just to keep going until you stop, same as me?!)

mrs s - you (and Minty) are my inspiration. I shall walk the hill and follow in your footsteps. I want 25x :-) G

HappyG you will be fine, as you always are because you put in the training and are a positive person. If I can do 25, you definitely can

My target is basically to keep going until noon. It would be great to manage _more than_ 100 miles
