HappyG, that's great of them. (I also like how 6 or 8 am is in the middle of the night for you - it certainly feels like that when I go to work! ;-))
Lol at Dvorak - and, in fact, at everybody discussing the merits of entering the 24 rather than the 12. I'm like Mrs S though - I need to know what I'm doing beforehand. I couldn't enter the 24 and then play it by ear - if I entered the 24, I'd want to be on my feet for a reasonable amount of this time. With entering the 12, I might have a chance of actually achieving this.
Idle wilder, I won't have support, but am sure I'll be ok regardless as it's such a short loop. Another reason to do 'only' 12 though!

Thank you, Mrs S! I might take you up on that offer and ask for a cup of tea at some point. Or a hot water bottle.

Sure, I guess I will be making lots of tea and coffee all weekend! My crew made me pot noodle and got takeaway pizza too. You can be in on that order if you like?

Oooohhhh... Nothing like takeaway pizza. Though I might prefer it after my run.

With a bit of luck, Mike and Dan will be there to help look after people. Just don't rely on Dan to be awake, sober or even remember who he's supposed to be looking after.

I appear to have entered the 12 as well. Considering I've been ill and haven't run a step for 3 weeks this seems very optimistic.

With all the lovely folk doing this, I'm thinking more and more that this is a great choice for me to try and push to my longest ever run. Roll on September (if I can just survive that pesky Fling in the mean time!) :-)G

:-)G, you do know the timekeeper comes armed with an electric cattle prod for this, don't you? Don't think you'll get away with stopping before your allocated finish time (yes I know MrsS did last year...) and if you're in for the 24, the mini-lap finishes are spectacularly competitive.
