It still did a good job of getting the distance right for that section (about 1.25 miles) which is impressive.

I've cleaned the contacts, switched it off and on a couple of times, plugged it into the computer but nothing seems to get it to work. I guess it's maybe 3 years old now and has worked perfectly until now. Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated.

If so and no joy, a new cable* or even try a wireless charger? (the web says the 245 can be charged wirelessly probably the Amazon versions, reather than oure garmin Or even call / chat to Garmin Support, 've always found them very helpful, and chances are they're local (UK HQ is Totton/Marchwood)
