Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

To those who I haven't replied by fmail...popped around to friends last Thursday but ran out of time to sort Garmin probs as we were sorting other stuff out with the time trial software. He is however, on the case of Vista + Garmin. Sorry, this may take longer than I expected and have posted words to that effect. The parkrun is rapidly expanding by way of explanation.

Hi Saint, thanks for the link. I had the old version (installed Saturday!) and have installed the new one as you never know when I'll need Slovak translation! I measured the distance to the child minder today, but forgot to stop the clock and did 30 minute miling!

I was 10 seconds out with my garmin time to the official time and don't understand how that could be. The distance was exact (3 miles) and the splits were a mile each, so I don't know how that can have happened. I prefer my time though...

It takes a bit o getting used to and a couple of people have shown me some of the things it can do. Like after a race yesterday PQ showed me how to call up my splits. so yes, well worth getting the hang of it.
