Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just got mine last week and these tips have been great. I did manage to read the quick start manual. Does anybody cover the contacts on the back with anything or are they okay getting wet?

When I hold the lap button down it beeps then says reset in 3..2..1.. and resets. Maybe it's and old software version?

I've had the restarting by accident thing ... but thankfully not after a marathon!

StringSideUp. As to the not resetting problem.

This happened to me a few weeks ago and i think that i had accidently switched the auto multisport function on in the training menu. To fix it I reset by holding down the lap button as previously described and made sure it was switched to RUNNING and not OTHER, by going to the settings menu, go into the running menu and select USE THIS SPORT and press enter.

For anyone interested the SportTracks has the full release version 2 of its software. You can download this for free by going to: zonefivesoftware.com

My apologies if this has already been mentioned.

Anyone use Motion Based? I try but it keeps winging at me saying that my email address doesn't match or something.

I used Motion Based, and I think I might have seen the same error you're seeing. If you've already registered on the Garmin site, then you try to register on the Motion Based site, it will give you an error saying your e-mail address is already registered, or something close to that. Just use the same user ID and password you used on the Garmin site, and that will work.

Thanks SF. I got it working online, it's the Motionbased agent that's getting to me now.

What is the agent for anyway?
