Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's enough of that!

The drivers canopy is from the jeep model I made, the windows in the rear canopy are cut out from a parmesan packet and the forward blue things are bits of spru.

I've tried to capture the crap nature of the ones I saw in Liverpool, plenty of gunk and rust

Oh and the synetiq thing it's the salvage people we use at work, when they sell a car from their website they image in a bay they looks a bit like the one I've recreated with some bagged mouse mats. I get on with one of the guys there and send them pics of my models in their yard!

Thank you ๐Ÿ˜ƒ working in a small scale really is a good way to build your skills.

I've just dived into another cheap set to develop those paintbrush skills then I'm going to have a crack at the cheify that's been sat on the shelf. If I can't crack the air brush I'm going to use aerosol on it

I can't believe that we've got Crafts, Gardening, Computer Games, but not model cars, trains...!

Just don't call them toys!

My particular hobby was 1/10th scale radio controlled car racing. I'm now looking to get into radio controlled planes. We have some Airfix model builders in here and Lego builders too. Any type of model vehicles really! Planes, trains, automobiles... boats, helicopters, anything! Come join in! :-) G
