Fred Whitton challenge on Sunday so heading up North tomorrow…….

You may well have sworn at the old Hurricane kit but you've done a brilliant job on her.

Best of luck with the Fred Whitton challenge, that was on my bucket list when back in the day when I could actually get up the hills.

Thank you @RiceandPeas I enjoy building the vintage kits but they are a challenge 😳

@richmac we are travelling up this morning, staying in Grasmere and going home on Monday. I’ve only been to the Lakes once before to race the Lakesman full distance Tri. The area is stunning.

I’ve trained loads for the Fred but I’m still nervous 😳😇🚒

I can't believe that we've got Crafts, Gardening, Computer Games, but not model cars, trains...!

Just don't call them toys!

My particular hobby was 1/10th scale radio controlled car racing. I'm now looking to get into radio controlled planes. We have some Airfix model builders in here and Lego builders too. Any type of model vehicles really! Planes, trains, automobiles... boats, helicopters, anything! Come join in! :-) G
