Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I'm really looking forward to seeing it. Always had a soft spot for the hurricane.

I've been painting tiny squares for what feels like forever. Still not done.

Hey G, thank you. That’s most kind. I was experimenting with some new painting techniques.

Just started the Hurricane for Paddy

Hey, Will, I'm probably biased but Games Workshop have a lot of painting advice online, including an app called Citadel Colour. It all involves GW paint, but their stuff is ALL about painting figures.

My advice is : basecoat, wash, drybrush.

I just noticed Airfix have reissued their 1/48 Albion 3 point refueller and RAF ground crew set. I always wanted to recreate this famous photograph and even have a set of decals for Stanford Tuck's Hurricane. Hhmmm, could this be the thing that gets me back to bench?

About This Thread

I can't believe that we've got Crafts, Gardening, Computer Games, but not model cars, trains...!

Just don't call them toys!

My particular hobby was 1/10th scale radio controlled car racing. I'm now looking to get into radio controlled planes. We have some Airfix model builders in here and Lego builders too. Any type of model vehicles really! Planes, trains, automobiles... boats, helicopters, anything! Come join in! :-) G
