The problem with that, I find, is that you don’t get time to think and really consider it. And the jeopardy is not there!

Time controls are there for a reason, I usually play fast but no-one is online and available to play full time and especially with the difference in time zones I wouldn't give it a second thought if they used a full 2d over their moves. My match opponent is in the USA I think.

TBH I've been more surprised at the speed everyone is playing in games that are billed as 24h per move...not that it's a problem.

just taken out the 1000 rated first intermiediate player, he wasn't very good !
Meg - it means I can experiment FASTER :¬)
Maybe as a group we are better than I expected

Hello JulesR. I was graded about 130 on the ecf system when I used to play regularly over the board. I think that converts to just under 1700. I’m incredibly rusty though.
