Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks to Coachie for directing me to the thread.
For tomorrow:
- I'm going for a bike ride, even if it's raining - it's been a while and we got out of the habit but I really enjoy cycling.
- Walk or run far enough to squish my Fetchpoint bugs. I've got 7 miles to walk or run before the end of the month to finish the virtual LEJoG challenge.
- Stick to my self-imposed calorie limit

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
Will begin the search for meaning, or possibly to identify rather than find. Just read Viktor Frankl. Sobering stuff.

Bit of a big goal but got to have a direction to guide and all that. :-) G

Yeaterday’s achievements
- ran 1.5
- swam 8 mins whoosh down the fast river
- drank 1.5l of water

Good start, but need to keep working on the water

Great to see a few of you popping up and here’s to more joining in this year

I CAN for today

- run 2 miles
- swim

- 2 litres water

Food wise is harder to master this week however I have got a shiny new notepad ready to write up a weeks worth of recipes and think about better eating for the new year

I also signed up for run your age for ageuk. So that’s 54 miles Planning to do that during Jan and Feb. (All in jan would be magic but lets do achievable and positive instead of obsessive and overtraining!)

Have a great CANday

Well done on yesterday's DIDs, FRU. The water is hard sometimes isn't it. I have 2 large Sodastream bottles that I fill and fizz in the morning and I aim to finish them throughout the day.

I really like this message -

All I want for Christmas is Woo
That is a great message.
I will start thinking about my targets but I’m not going to achieve much this week while on holiday in the motorhome.

I just want to start celebrating the small wins. I am too negative on myself otherwise

We just got a soda stream GM and that’s my start aim too. Brilliant idea

Completed run and whoosh swim
Down the very swollen fast flowing river

DIDs yey!!!

I'm not sure if the swim sounds fun or scary, FRU! Either way, you did it :)

My DIDs for the day:
Despite the rain, I walked across muddy fields to collect and dispose of my Fetchpoint bugs
We went for a bike ride along the muddy riverbank and splashed through puddles on the way back.
I have resisted the Christmas cake to stick within my calorie limit for the day. I just need to not eat anything else today.

I'll think of some CANs for tomorrow. I like this thread, FRU :)
