Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have been enjoying the salisbury cathedral peregrine nestcam. I'm working, so just occasional peeks during the day but I did spot her rearranging her eggs.

A GS woodpecker was drumming in the park today. A couple of people were pointing out the location to passers-by. We all distanced ourselves, like a band of many members album cover, to get a look. Some people remarked that under normal circumstances, they wouldn't point out a woodpecker to complete strangers.

New bird species in the garden this evening, and a totally unexpected one at that. Looked out of the conservatory window and there was a red-legged partridge sitting on the ridge of our converted garage! I have no idea what it was doing there, in a suburban garden at least 2 miles from the nearest bit of farmland. It was there for ages, seemingly as bemused by the situation as we were.

Yes, Um, I've caught a few glimpses. Tonight I was talking to my son while driving. He was watching the webcam and saw the parents swap over! I'll see if I can attach his screenshots
