Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Boing for Sophs plea for a knight in shining armour to be support team for Devil. Actually a knight or knightess in shining metal vehicle would do.

Actually, even shining is optional.

my idea for when I do the Devil is to name someone else's support vehicle, and either just do that to keep the organisers happy (and have a light backpack for food, h2o etc). Or, genuinely share a joint support vehicle.

Personally I prefer to underestimate ultras so the first choice sounds best. Just take a hoody top and a sandwich!

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
