Did you use to at some point in your life? Here's a thread to talk about what's draining our savings and how these obsessions came about. It'll come as a surprise to no one that I collect DVDs and Blu-rays. Right now, my focus is mainly on the Eureka! Masters of Cinema dual-format editions, an ongoing series of silent, foreign and cult films. I'm trying to get them in order of release, though some of them are now discontinued and are hard to find. I currently have numbers 1-26, 28, 30-32 and 34.

(I'm keeping them for when I have children of my own.) I've amassed quite a few novels and non-fiction as well, including most of the Poldarks and some lesser-known works by Tolkien and George R.R. Martin among others. My book buying (and reading) has dropped off considerably since I stopped commuting to work.
