Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's seriously hardcore! My legs were just too tired after it.

Did you get any niggles / knee issues?

I'm running and doing turbo too plus the insanity. The insanity is to help the running though and not following the plan everyday, just as & when 2 times a week or so as don't have time otherwise to do everything else. Notice hip niggles when I don't do insanity for several days so to clearly strengthening & stabilising it.

I didn't get any knee issues, but I was doing it barefoot on a carpet. I'll admit it was very tough going but it was literally to get in shape for going on a beach holiday. It worked. I've never been motivated enough since to get back on it. Maybe once the summer comes round again.

Have done it almost to the plan plus a bit of cycling on the turbo trainer. Haven't noticed much weight loss, or change in shape but I think I am getting stronger, some of the exercises seem a little easier now, and I suspect my bum is shrinking slightly as my tracky bottoms seem easier to get on over my a$$ & hips. I think if I'd followed a healthy eating plan too then the weight would be dropping off.

For Jerboa & anyone else who is interested, here are my before and after pictures. I didn't eat particularly well when following the program so probably would have seen much better results with the a well planned diet.

I was really happy with the results though. 1st picture is some crusty pants, hence blocked out to spare you guys the pain. When I took the photos I didn't think anyone else would ever be seeing them.

Most weight was lost for me and everone at work in the first 35 days - most of us lost around 5kg & then remained about the same for phase2 although got much stronger on that part.

WEIGHTS:
Day 00: = 82.0KG
Day 35 = 77.4KG
Day 63 = 76.4KG

Cool! I didn't think to do side or rear view, had no one to take pics except me and it took me about 15 attempts of using the timer on the camera to get one I liked. BE WARNED - I promise that if I see any change for the better in the shape of my body I will post my pics too. Gulp!

thanks icklevee - a bit embarrassing posting photos online but then it's no different to what I'd be wearing at the beach / pool.

You can't really see it in the pictures but my posture improved following insanity.

Jerboa, I really struggled taking pictures indoors - the lights just aren't good enough much better outside if possible.

Icklevee I wasn't going to do mid phase ones, Kieren, don't be shy, we women have bikinis, which when in plain colors can look just like bra and pants. Icklevee is right, you seem to have more definition and tone. Did Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs today and left knee was niggling on the last of the jumps. Was going to swim tonight but then my house sprung a leak and by the time I had decided it had slowed down enough not to worry too much I was too late to go. Going to be fixing my roof on Wednesday now, so there might not be time to do the Cardio Circuit. Unless I get up stupidly early which is a bad idea when just starting night shifts and no chance to go back to bed in pm.
