Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I see Peroni do one too - didn't spot that in Tesco. Might have to seek out Estella for my tasting extravaganza!

Brewdog Raspberry Blitz is good. It tastes of sour raspberries and is very tart on the tongue. I like it because it doesnt taste like beer but somehow quashes the beer craving in my head.

Agree with Angus

I don’t like the St Peter light or dark. The dark one is awful

Limited choices on Fakeys at our local Asda. Becks Blue is the usual, Brewdog Nanny State for a special occasion. I think they have some sort of own brand 0% beer too but I've not tried it.

The Becks is OK. Nanny State is good. I'm not exactly a connoisseur of beers at the best of times so I'm sure the experts will tell me they're both piss but they work for me.

(Also 3 bottles of Becks is still less calories than 1 bottle of Budweiser)

Sorry. Should have included a glossary there. Fakey = Fake beer. It's what my boys call my stuff. Eg: "I'm having a beer, Dad. Shall I get you a Fakey while I'm there?"

I like the Big Drop ones: chocolate milk stout, lager and sour
I really like the Leeds 0PA
The Nirvana ones are really mixed: there’s one horrible one and one nice one but I can’t remember which
Nanny State is easy to find but I’m not a massive fan, it’s ok
Don’t like the St Peters ones!
Majestic had some 2% beer a while back, I quite liked that, it had a good aftertaste which is what the proper low alcohol ones lack.

I need to order some more, I drank lots last summer when it was really hot and I wanted something refreshing. TBH I prefer proper beer really but it’s good to mix it up. I don’t like bottled beer much anyway, much prefer beer on tap in a proper pub, so if I’m going to drink bottled beer and be disappointed I might as well be disappointed and less pissed :)
