Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Still waiting for it. Apparently (Waterstones) it's not quite here yet.

I do believe my copy of P&D 2nd Edition is on it's way. Hopefully I'll be able to summarise some of the changes by the weekend.

Wow, anybody thinking of tackling the more than 85 miles a week schedule in the 2nd edition (that sounds like it's just for you EpS)? Thats up to 107 miles training.

Some good new stuff on core strength, nutrition etc. and the schedules have been tweaked a little.

So much to read, so little time.....................................

I guess you're allowed to do extra-curricular miles if you want. ;-)

"Rest" days comprise a 6 mile in the morning and a 5 mile in the evening.

B Rubble > A more than 85 miles a week schedule? I'm up for that for next years' london marathon.

Am looking forward to hearing more about the book and will see if my mrs want to get it for me for my birthday (July).

SP - Looking at the schedule I think you'd find it would suit you.

Still seems fairly similar to the previous book, no silly 24 week schedules though. I'm still not sure about the amount of mileage on race week (28-40 miles + marathon).
