Profile
I took up running in 1988 after a friend persuaded me to run the Dunfermline Half Marathon. After enjoying my first race so much I started training regularly and became a keen runner. In 1991, a friend and I formed Carnegie Harriers running club in Dunfermline and the club is now one of the leading road running clubs in Scotland with over 150 members. I enjoyed my best spell of running in the mid 90's and although I still try to train hard I think the times recorded then will be hard for me to achieve again.
