Started running as a drinking bet. I was the only one of three to actually get in through the ballot to the london marathon. That was in 1999. Run London a few times but its not my favourite race as its like a crazy stampede. Just completed the dublin marathon which was great fun. but, caught a nasty cold over the weekend so was not at my best on race day, in fact I should have still been in bed. Maybe i'm just full of excuses but, i burnt out at 16 miles all that training wasted. I need to complete a marathon from start to finish without walking! well, until the next one.
