Milford 21 - A great scenic run with some very challenging bits that you HAVE to walk. Started with Rich, Des and Mike but had really sore left calf and left quad which I was really uneasy about. Then at about 6M I had this 'sick' thing where I nearly choked. Was worried I may have to turn back but after a couple of miles I got into it and then the switchbacks came which took my mind off matters. Rich and Mike were slightly ahead and had good run with Des. Passes Mike at 12M and Rich was off and out of sight. Had a tough spell at about 15M where i lost des but then picked up to rejoin him at the next water stations. Good run from there til just before last hill, gaining on Rich and had passed Paul and Helen about 16M (which i was secretly very pleased with). Last hill really broke it all up for me again and I felt great for the last mile

I thought you'd be chuffed to get past Helen. And why not? Helen is very strong at these sort of events. And you're even stronger. Well done chuck
